5 Hacks to Deceive Google || How to Stop Google From Tracking Your Data and Activity

Welcome To CXB

Google is one of the most popular websites on this planet. If you want to search for anything, like Movies, Games, News, fashion, study, social networking, and much more, you head over to Google, created by Sergey Brin and Larry Page.  Do you know that Google knows a lot of things about you? They know what all you are looking for, your interests, age, and everything which you are looking for online.

In my opinion, we must aware of Google activity on Android and Web Browsers that tracks your Web & App Activity, Location History, Device Information, Voice & Audio Activity, YouTube Search History, and YouTube Watch History.
HAVE you ever checked your phone and had the feeling that you’re being spied on? It’s not a coincidence. It is a reality. Has an advertisement for a Shoe or place ever popped up on your screen that you were just talking about?
Yes, I’m sure you will face this situation regularly
Your every move is being watched. Monitored. Analyzed by  the great Google
Google monitors your daily life, web and app activities. Google tracks you 24 hours a day and your activities how you search, what you search, what you like/dislike, where you are going, what kind of images and videos you watch, ads that you click, apps that you are using, and much more. Despite this, Google also tracks your IP and MAC address to check where you are going and what kind of hardware and OS you are using. Google also uses advance cookies in Browsers to trace you.
Google also collects your personal information like Name, addresses, mobile no., Debit Card and Credit card Details, other Bank credentials, government ID, photos, videos, contacts, documents. spreadsheets etc
Now a question arises in your mind Why does Google do this? The answer is quite simple
Google’s Basic purpose in tracking and storing so much Data and information is to deliver more Accurate or relevant results and products to you, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing. However, growing privacy concerns have inspired many users to carefully monitor their information, including data shared online.
Now you might get nervous and stressed after knowing this information. But Don’t Worry I am here for you
As I am an aspirant of Ethical Hacking and Cyber Security, I will tell you how to shut down Google’s evil activities. Just follow these simple steps and do it to protect your privacy and data.

III). Don’t use Google Products!
In my opinion, you must be laughing in your mind and saying, “Are you kidding?”Yes, you will, but avoiding Google products is the best way to secure your data and privacy. Avoid using Google products like Google Search, Google Chrome, Maps, YouTube, Drive, Photos, Gmail, and much more. To protect yourself from Evil Google, in this method I will tell you the best alternatives for Google products available in this world.
First of all, I start with Browsers and Search Engines, then video platforms, Cloud storage, and finish with Email services
  • Use alternatives browser like Firefox, Safari, Internet Explorer, Microsoft Edge, Opera, and make DuckDuckGo, Yahoo, Bing, or Ask your default search engine
  • Try to use Here Maps, Bing Maps, Apple Maps, Waze Maps, and much more as an alternative to Google Maps

  • Instead of YouTube, try some popular competitors of YouTube: Dailymotion, Vimeo, Metacafe, IGTV, DTube, PeerTube, Twitch
  • Use Cloud Storage services like Dropbox, OneDrive, Cloud Sync, Mega, and say bye to Google Drive and Photos
  • You can use Proton Mail, Outlook, Yahoo Mail, Apple Mail, Rediff, AOL as an alternative to Gmail(if you want more information about this, check out my blog on Top-9-Gmail-alternatives-email-services)
IV). Do a Privacy Checkup Periodically
The best thing to protect your privacy would simply be to clear your Google Search history completely. You can do that from the My Activity page of your account. Google gives you Privacy Checkup features for controlling your privacy
You have to decide how much information and access you’re comfortable giving to Google. Do you care if all your searches are tracked as long as you get relevant results? Are you okay with giving Google access to your personal information if you receive more targeted access to what you’re looking for?
Decide what level of access you’re comfortable with, and update your Google settings accordingly. In my opinion, the best Settings are:
  • First of all, I am suggesting you disable Web & App Activity or Location tracking, then turn off the ad personalization feature. After this
  • Disable Voice and Audio Recording (which are used by Google Assistant, Google Maps, etc.) Then move to the Photos option and
  • Shut Group Similar Feature off
  • Then turn on the Remove Geolocation in items shared by link
  • And finally, disable the Shared Endorsements Feature of Google (The profile name and profile photo of your account may appear with that activity)

V). Be anonymous:

In my previous article, which is based on how to stop Facebook spying on us, I tell you about the best VPN and privacy browsers available in the world that protect our privacy and data from Facebook, that method is also applied here. So check out my previous article to stop Facebook spying on us and apply the “Be anonymous” solution to restrict Google spyware 9 Hacks to Deceive Facebook

Now, there is also another way to be anonymous. That is, choose to use the “private browsing” feature:

When you use private browsing features (Available in Firefox, Safari, IE, Microsoft Edge, and Opera), your browser won’t store any browser history, temporary Internet files, cookie information, and other data. This feature will be very useful when you’re on a public terminal.

Bonus Knowledge:

  • The Great Google is immortal In Terms of Information/database. Few companies and Services on this planet will provide you with the information and Database that Google offers.
  • I’m personally suggesting you try DuckDuckGo as the default search engine. Because all the search data and various user activities are highly encrypted on this Platform.
Final Verdict:
In my opinion, tracking people’s activity without their agreement and without proper controls in place is creepy and wrong, but if you follow the steps above, you can enjoy Google services more securely and avoid sharing your Privacy, search, app, and location data.
